Fictional demo room
Orchard Room
The Orchard Rooms face the sheltered garden rather than the lake. Smaller and more work-friendly than the Shore Rooms, they pair a king-or-twin bed with a full writing desk, task light and covered garden seat. Choose them for a calmer setting, useful workspace and value—not as a lesser version of a lake-facing room.

Editorial story
How this room meets the day.
Not every good room needs the lake in its window. Here, apricot leaves, garden paths and softer southern light create a more sheltered stay. The desk is large enough for a real hour of work, not merely a laptop photograph; the covered seat outside is for tea, boots and the slower return from a day in the valley.
The four Orchard Rooms differ in light and position. One is especially shaded, one catches the late afternoon, and one sits closer to reception and normal daytime arrivals. Their shared promise is a garden orientation, a proper workspace and no lake view. That last fact is not buried in the gallery. For a reader, light sleeper or longer-stay guest, it may be the best reason to choose the room.
