Ordinary check-in

Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:00.

The house does not operate a guaranteed 24-hour reception desk. Tell us your expected arrival time, even when it falls within ordinary hours.

That allows us to:

• prepare the correct bed arrangement;
• keep the arrival route clear;
• confirm dinner;
• notice a transport delay;
• make sure someone is ready to receive you.
   

What happens on arrival

Arrive at the landward side of the hotel.

From the small parking and drop-off area, follow the path to the Map and Tea Room. Check-in is intentionally brief: identification and booking details, any remaining payment, one orientation to the house, and the information most useful for the next morning.

We do not need to explain the entire south shore while you are still holding your bag.

Early arrival

A room before 14:00 cannot be guaranteed.

When arrangements allow, luggage can be left at the house while the room is prepared. The Map and Tea Room may be available, but early arrival does not automatically include an additional breakfast or room access.

Late arrival

Arrival after 20:00 requires written confirmation in advance.

The hotel will agree:

• how to enter;
• where to park or be dropped off;
• whether dinner remains possible;
• who to contact if the journey is delayed.
   

Do not assume that a message sent after ordinary check-in has been seen.

Dinner on the first evening

Reserve dinner before 15:00 or before beginning the journey to Tamga.

The kitchen cannot promise an evening meal to an unannounced late arrival, but we can explain what alternatives are realistic.

Checkout

Checkout is by 11:00.

Luggage may be held later when arranged. Departure transfers and packed breakfasts or lunches need advance confirmation.
