House & Table
A small hotel is understood in the details it repeats well: how the room is prepared, where tea waits, what the kitchen serves and whose hand made the object on the wall. This is the house behind the stay.
Tamaga is built around considered simplicity: ten rooms, a sheltered garden, the Map and Tea Room, breakfast each morning and one dinner the kitchen can serve well. The stories below show how the house works, what its materials mean and what it deliberately does not pretend to offer. Trust grows when atmosphere and operating reality tell the same story.
Our story
This page explains why the fictional hotel was created and what kind of real independent property it is meant to represent.
Breakfast and dinner
This is food service for resident guests; dinner is one pre-booked sitting, not a public restaurant or all-day menu.
House and craft
Read this when the materials and cultural provenance of the house matter; this is not a catalogue of decorative “ethnic style.”
What we do not offer
This page explains the fictional hotel’s limits so guests can judge fit before entering the booking journey.
