Payments and cancellation

A fair policy should still feel understandable when plans change. Before confirmation, the booking summary shows what is due now, what is due later, the exact cancellation deadline and the financial consequence of cancelling after it.

The selected rate governs the booking

A room type describes where you stay. A rate describes the commercial conditions under which you book it.

The same room may therefore appear with different:

  • prices;
  • deposit requirements;
  • cancellation deadlines;
  • minimum stays;
  • included services;
  • payment schedules.
     

The booking summary shows the complete conditions before you confirm.

Prices

Prices are displayed in Kyrgyz som (KGS) unless the booking interface states otherwise.

Any converted amount is indicative. The confirmed booking identifies the currency in which payment is due, included taxes or fees, and any service charged separately.

The visible total should agree with the amount requested for payment. A static paragraph must never override the current Offer or Commerce record.

Payment

Depending on the rate, a booking may require:

  • no immediate payment;
  • a deposit;
  • full advance payment;
  • balance payment at the property.
     

Where advance payment is needed, the hotel uses a secure hosted payment page or other confirmed method.

Do not send card details by email, contact form, SMS or ordinary messaging.

The hotel should not ask staff to copy payment-card information into Drupal, CRM notes or reservation comments.

Flexible rates

A flexible rate allows cancellation or change until the deadline shown in the booking summary.

After that time, a charge may apply. The page must show both the deadline and the amount or calculation method in plain language.

“Subject to policy” is not sufficient.

Restricted and advance rates

A lower or package rate may require advance payment and may be non-refundable.

Choose it only when the dates are firm. The difference should be visible before selection, not revealed on the final checkout screen.

Changing a booking

Changes depend on availability and the conditions of the original rate.

Moving the dates may change:

  • the price;
  • the room;
  • the offer;
  • the required minimum stay;
  • the cancellation deadline.
     

Contacting the hotel does not by itself alter a reservation. The change is complete when written confirmation has been issued.

Late cancellation, no-show and early departure

A late cancellation or failure to arrive is handled according to the confirmed rate.

Leaving earlier than booked does not automatically create a refund. We will explain what can and cannot be changed before processing a request.
